SMART$ are respondent-administered questionnaires, uniquely coupled with incentive checks honored by financial institutions. Questions appear on the memo stub; corresponding answers are recorded on the detachable check.

The SMART$ are then endorsed and cashed or deposited by respondents at local banks & ATMs.  Redeemed SMART$ (with survey responses) are returned to us weekly via normal banking channels for data processing & analysis.
